Halloween

I had a nice visit to the east coast at the end of September and beginning of October. I have got a lot of knitting projects done and read quite a few books. I have been taking a Art History class this semester and am really enjoying it.(I missed 3 classes going back east so I was excused from the dreaded group project) I am only going to mention a few books and projects with the idea I will do another post this weekend.(Ha does anyone really believe this?)Here I go:
Books kinda like "Gone Girl" saw this movie recently-the one time I think the movie would have been better if I hadn't read the book.

Like" Gone Girl"
1."The Good Girl" Mary Kubica suspenseful thriller nothing seems the way it is

2."What Has Become of You" Jan Elizabeth Watson teacher at small private girls school in New Hampshire teaching Salinger again assume nothing

3. "Small Blessings "Martha Woodroof unrealistic but nice story

4."The Children Act" Ian McEwan British author has won many awards including The Booker Prize wrote "Atonement" female judge with ethical dilemma

5." Big Little Lies" Liane Moriarty Australian author great book for a plane ride 3 women thrown together because daughters all at same private school lol funny

Right now I am reading "The Balkan Trilogy" by Olivia Manning .  This is a book that has been out of print by recently re-issued .It is almost 1,000 pages long.yep1,000. It has gone pretty fast but I would say"meh" about it. All books available on Amazon

Projects
1.Finished rug hooking took a rug hooking class this summer in Kennebunk with my sister and daughter.   It was fun. I am going to try to turn it into a pillow

2.Urban Chic scarf many people in my group are making this. It is very easy done in ShiBui Linen that I got at my local yarn store Jessica Knits and Crochets.  The color is Fjord and is 100% linen.

I am going to put some pictures in now because I want to get back to knitting.  I have 3 other projects to show you
