knitting only

I've been looking through what I knitted over the summer and I really finished quite a few things, more than I realized. Projects I am showing today were done in Maine, with yarn from Maine, bought in Maine. All yarn was bought at knitwit, in Portland Maine. Well worth the visit if your in Maine.
First is the "Point of View" vest.  This is done in "Sparrow "yarn from Quince&Co..This is a 100% linen yarn in the un-dyed colorway. I made this on #1 needles-beautiful but tedious.

To continue punishing myself I started the" Brise Cardigan"also in Sparrow yarn but I did it on #2 needles(not much better).I am doing the collar now and should be finished soon. The color is eleuthra.  These knits are designed by Hannah Fettig who of course lives in Portland,Maine.  They appear in the book "Knitbot linen.  Love the patterns in this book.

Next up is the "Nauset Tee" designed by Hannah Fettig.  This was made using Kestral yarn a new 1005 linen yarn from Quince&Co. in the colorway porpoise.  This yarn is thick so I was able to knit it on #8 needles.  It wen very fast.  I love this sweater and I have worn it quite a bit with a tank underneath it . I will definitely be making this pattern again.

I made a few scarves this summer but the one in the picture is using fingering weight "Swans Island" yarn.  The pattern is called "Cameo".It is a easy garter stitch scarf-great mindless knitting. Find it on raverly.

That's it for today
Peace

I'm knitting up the Lineal cardiagn and am thinking about doing the vest. The cardigan is great and I love Sparrow...other than the knots in every skein. Did you have this problem. I've never knitted with linen before and am worried about finishing up the cardiagan with all those ends (due to the knots) to weave in -- not so much the time but whether they will show. Any advice?
