madelinetosh tea leaves cardigan
I have been working on this madelinetosh tea leaves cardigan .I got the yarn from my favorite yarn store in Maine Purl Diva. The yarn is from String Theory in Blue Hill Maine. The women at Sting Theory hand dye the yarn . It is just beautiful and the pictures don't do the yarn justice. I really enjoyed making this sweater. It is knit from the top down so it is fun and easy with nothing to sew together Yeah!!!!! I hate the finishing process. It always looks so sloppy to me. I really need to have someone teach me the right way to finish sweaters. The yarn color is called colbalt and is merino DK wool 5-6 stitches /inch on a US #6 needle. I met the women from String Theory at the Maine Fiber Frolic in June and bought some lovely silk/wool yarn. The Fiber Frolic is a wonderful event with people from all over New England showing there yarn and fiber related products as well as selling sheep, goats, etc.
