books

I did some reading in Maine.  The first is called "Maine" by J. Courtney Sullivan.  It was a great summer read but well written and the author really knew Maine.  I also liked "The Paris Wife " by Paula McLain.  This was about Ernest Hemingways first wife.  If you saw Woody Allen's movie Midnight in Paris it a nice tie in.  i even was inspired to read Hemmingway but did not get far.  Now I am reading "and I shall have some peace there"  by Margret Roach.  It is about a woman in her 50's who gives  up here job at Martha Stewart to move to here country house where she starts a gardening blog and ends up with a book deal. Let you know what I think I just stated it last night.  I decided to have one media free day a week and it is Wednesday.  I just can't deal with the news.
