Reading

I've been doing some reading but searching for a really good read. Sometimes I think maybe I should try some classics because so much fiction know is just plain crummy.  I have been reading "One Day" by David Nicholls.  It just seems sad.  If the movie is like the book I can see why the movie flopped.  I am about 350 pages into the book so I guess I will finish it but I don't think it will end happy.  I finished "The Year We Left Home"  by Jean Thompson which was just okay.  Abook I had really high hopes for that I actually bought it in hardcover was "and I shall some peace there"  by Margaret Roach was really bad.  It is about a 50ish year old woman who worked for Martha Stewart who quit to live in the country.  She went on and on about frogs in her garden and revealed very little about herself. So for so long between blogs but a lot of personal stuff happening here.  I am working on a sweater that was almost done last weekend but had to be ripped out .  I hope to take some pictures and show it soon.  My next knitting project is going to be something I really love with some yarn from Maine.It has been so hot here 114.  Some days 100 at 8am.
