reading, finished projects ,what's new on the needles

I think spring is finally going to be in Arizona by the end of the week.  Last weekend it was cold and rainy.  This weekend it is supposed to be in the 80's.  I am excited I have finished "The featherweight cardigan" by Hannah Fettig of Knitbot.  It is made in Quince and Co. tern yarn.  This is the 3rd sweater I have made in this pattern using different yarn each time.  I love the pattern .It is Knit from the top down so there almost no finishing.  I started "The Hitchhiker Scarf" by Martina Behm using a Zuberball? sock yarn.  This is a fun pattern all in garter stitch.  I had bought the yarn over a year ago and I didn't know what to do with it so I hope I like the scarf-it is good TV knitting.  I have also started a pullover sweater knitted from the bottom up using scraps of different color yarn .  I just sstrted the rib and will show a picture when I am farther along.
As far as reading goes I finished "The Middlesteins " by Jami Attenbugh.  I don't know how to describe this book.  It is about a very obese woman and her family but that summary does not do the book justice. Some of the writing, especially the last couple of chapters is great.  I also finished "Enough About Love"by Herve Le Tellier .It is translated from french and a best seller there.  It is about 6 adults and their loves.  It goes back and forth between the characters sometimes the chapters are only a page long.  It was confusing and my aging brain could not keep the characters straight.
pictures are coming

my children are on spring break this week
Peace
