"Gone Girl" by Gillian Flynn This book is a best seller and I can see why. A man's wife is murdered or was she? Of course the husband is the main suspect. The wife's side is explained in her diaries. There are many twists to this mystery. It is a great summer read . You won't be able to put it down.It appeals to men and women. My husband read it too and liked it."The World Without You " by Josh Henkin. I really liked this book,my husband did too. Jewish family is coming together at their summer house in the Berkshires for a memorial for their son who was a journalist killed in the middle east. the family includes mother, father, 3 sisters and their husbands and children. It is told from different points of view how they dealt with this tragedy and what is happening in their lives. It is good read.last for today is"When We were the Kennedys" by Monica Wood I loved this book. This a true story written by a Maine author about the death of her father. It is a great story about families, sisters, and community and a dying way of life. It is about small towns and leaving home. I shed a tear or two at the end I would have been sobbing if I wasn't on a packed plane. It was sad but also uplifting at the same time. All books are available at Amazon.com. .
