Thanksgiving
Well Thanksgiving is over. It was great to see my other children. My
daughter brought some Bell Seasoning from Boston. I hope this week to
send out my Christmas gifts to my family. It is cold here in Arizona
with overnight temps in the 30's and 40's and in the 50's during the
day. So getting to wear some sweaters and scarfs. Hanukkah happened the
same time as Thanksgiving this year.
As far as knitting goes I am almost finished with my "Stripe Study
Scarf"done in String Theory Yarn from Blue Hill Maine. The colors are
Java and Teal. This is easy knitting using all garter stitch and short
rows.
I have restarted "Trail Jacket".I made one of these last year but I think it turned out too big. This time I am using a size 9 needle instead of a 10. It is knit with Quince&Co. Yarn in the Sabine colorway. I love the color it is a very dark gray/blue. I want to start something else a little more complicated. I have so much yarn and so many patterns I don't know what to choose.I am also going to start some fingerless gloves for my daughter and some mittens for me to use during my early morning walks.
